Returns / Exchanges / Refunds

Our policy

You can return, exchange and/or get a refund on regularly priced items within 30 days of your purchase, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded, returned or exchanged. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Items that have been custom ordered or altered in any way are unable to be returned or exchanged. We kindly remind you to take care when measuring as Highland In Style is not responsible for sizing errors of custom or altered products.

To be eligible for a return, exchange, or refund the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If you are returning your item because it was received by you damaged or defective, Highland In Style, will at it's sole discretion, determine if the defect or damage was due your neglect, miss-use, improper cleaning or alterations before processing a refund or exchange. 

To complete your return, exchange or refund we require a receipt or proof of purchase, please enclose this when you return your item.

Returns  (if applicable)

Once your product has been received and inspected by us, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you if your return meets our refund policy outlined above.

If your return meets our policy, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow 5-10 business days for refunds to appear on your account. 

For details on the refunding the costs of returning damaged or defective goods please read the ‘Return shipping’ section below. 

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund within 5 – 10 days of us emailing you to confirm your refund, first please check with your bank or credit card company.  It may take longer than 5 – 10 days for your financial institution to process the refund and for it to appear on your account.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Once your product has been received and  inspected by us, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you if your return meets our exchange policy outlined above.

If your return meets our policy, we will dispatch your requested item for exchange as soon as practicable.  You will receive an email to confirm when your shipment has been dispatched. 

Please note that all costs for shipping exchanged items are your responsibility. For details the costs of returning goods please read the ‘Return shipping’ section below. 

 

Return shipping

To return your product for a refund or exchange, please mail your product to: Highland in Style, c/o, 89 Legacy Mews SE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada  T2X 0Y5.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning or exchanging your item. All shipping costs are non-refundable unless your item is deemed to be damaged or defective, in which case, Highland in Style will refund your reasonable costs incurred to return the item and shipping costs to send a replacement item to you. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are returning an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. 

Prior to sending an item for exchange, return or refund, please contact us to discuss potential shipping options that may best meet your needs to avoid any unnecessary shipping costs surprises.
